“Photos were not taken very often during work then, but someone had a new camera and shot the two of us during the recording. He sang the lead, and I sang Don Henley’s top harmony up in the stratosphere. What a great session, and what a nice guy to work with. I had always loved that song and everytime I hear it I have to sing along. We both had fun, and he asked politely if I would consider going on the road with him. Work got in the way of that offer, but I will never ever forget the great job both of us did.
Randy will always be remembered for his undeniable talent as a killer bass player. He was an outstanding singer songwriter that brought much joy to those who loved the music he wrote and played and sang. R.I.P. Randy Meisner, you gave me a memory that will never fade.”
