The Eagles at the Spectrum in Philadelphia was a two-night concert that featured Boz Scaggs as their opener. The Eagles had been at the Spectrum earlier on May 17, 1975, so this was a return performance for them. Glenn even wore his Phillie shirt, and Don Felder wore a NHL Philadelphia Flyers shirt.
This was a part of the “One of These Nights” tour.

“They are the logical musical progression from the early and influential California bands like the Byrds, Buffalo Springfield and the Flying Burrito Brothers.”
“Opening the show for the Eagles was Boz Scaggs and Band, one of the funkiest white soul bands this side of Hall and Oates.”

Concert review in the Courier-Post (Camden, NJ) – July 28, 1976
“Any apprehension over the injection of a new element into an established formula was quickly eliminated when it became apparent that Walsh’s soaring guitar work added a fresh dimension to the Eagles sound – a somewhat lustier approach.”

I would have loved to have been at a performance as this one where the Eagles sang the acapella version of “Seven Bridges Road”.
Oh my, that would have been something. Seeing Boz would have been the icing on the cake for that evening.
