Eagles at Westlake School for Girls – 1972

The Eagles concert at Westlake School for Girls in the Los Angeles area of California was in 1972. This concert/dance was identified as “first paying gig as the Eagles”. They had dropped any reference to their original name of ‘Teen King and the Emergencies’ for the band and were officially ‘Eagles’ now. Although the actual date is not known, this show at the school probably occurred early in the year for these photos to have made it in time into the school’s 1972 yearbook.

In 1991 Westlake School officially merged with the Harvard School for Boys, and the new school became Harvard-Westlake School. There are many notable alumni of the two schools, including Eagles’ friend, Ned Doheny.
