The Eagles appeared on The Helen Reddy Show, which aired July 12, 1973. They were on Season 1, Episode 3 of the short-lived TV show. (The Helen Reddy Show only lasted for one season with 8 episodes.) The Eagles sang Tequila Sunrise and Witchy Woman. Also on the show that night: Mac Davis, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Cheech and Chong. The airing of this show was a couple of weeks prior to their Central Park concert in New York at Wollman Rink.

  1. Such a great performance by the very young Eagles. Is this the hat that Bernie kept from the Desperado photo shoot?

    1. Yes, Bernie does like that hat. I once found the website that has the entire footage from the Helen Reddy show, but they won’t give or sell it to fans. You have to be working on a project for TV before they will give it to you.
