House of Blues Recording Studio in Encino, CA – 2002

The House of Blues Recording Studio in Encino was where Billy Swan recorded a duet with Gary Curtis of Billy’s 1974 hit song ‘I Can Help’. Randy Meisner worked with Billy in their super group known as Meisner, Swan & Rich just a few years earlier. There is quite a bit of info on Meisner, Swan & Rich on a separate page on this website.

Gary Curtis said the ‘I Can Help’ duet recording took place in 2002, and Gary has the song on his ‘If I Give My Love To You‘ album. Randy Meisner also participated in this re-make recording with bass guitar and harmony vocals. Bruce Gary of The Knack was the drummer for this session.

    1. I love it when I find new pics. I purposely left a date off the page for now. I have a guess as to what year, but I’m just not positive. So, I have sent a couple of messages out to Gary Curtis asking if he can supply the date.
