The Paramount Northwest Theatre in Seattle was the venue for a sold-out Eagles concert on Mar. 23, 1974. There was also a show the preceding evening on March 22, at a different Paramount Northwest Theatre. That theatre was in Portland, OR. Both theatres were more commonly called just ‘Paramount Theatre’.
This Seattle concert was one of the first stops on the Eagles’ “On the Border” tour. The album, which was their third studio album, had just been released on March 22, 1974. This was the album that started with Glyn Johns as the producer at Olympic Studios in London and finished up with Bill Szymczyk at the Record Plant in Los Angeles. Don Felder had just joined the Eagles in early 1974. The concert with Neil Young at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, CA was March 16, 1974, which was just a few days before the album was released.
