Silverados at Paramount Northwest in Seattle – Mar. 19, 1981

The Silverados at Paramount Northwest in Seattle concert was opened by the Skyboys. The Skyboys was a popular local Seattle band.

This concert was co-sponsored by KJR Radio in Seattle, and the concert attendance was about 1,250 persons. Randy and the Silverados had been at The Bottom Line in New York a week earlier with Rosanne Cash. The band was extremely busy during February and March 1981 with one show after another.

A special thank you to Scott Forrest for the KJR radio station photo and backstage pass.

“Even with so talented a team of co-writers as Eric Kaz and Wendy Waldman, Meisner’s songs often fell short. One delightful exception was ‘Hearts On Fire,’ Meisner’s most successful post-Eagles tune. It’s a catchy, clever song, but it sounds so much like the Eagles that it doesn’t establish Meisner as an individual talent.”
