The Gonzaga University Eagles concert was held in the Kennedy Pavilion on campus on Mar. 24, 1974. This would have been one of Don Felder’s early shows with the Eagles. It’s also one of the first concerts during the On the Border tour, and that album came out a couple days earlier on Mar. 22, 1974. Dan Fogelberg opened the show for the Eagles.
The Eagles concert at Paramount Northwest Theatre in Seattle was the previous night on the 23rd. The Eagles/Neil Young benefit concert was just a week earlier at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo, California on Mar. 16.
“Playing a combination of favorites from their two previous albums and several from their new one, ‘On the Border,’ it wasn’t until ‘Midnight Flyer’ that the band finally got moving as everyone was confident they would.”
