Randy Meisner at Universal Studios for Backdraft attraction promotion – July 1992

Randy Meisner at Universal Studios was one of several celebrities who was there for a promotion of Universal’s new Backdraft attraction in July 1992. The attraction was based on the film of the same name. There were about 30 radio stations set up in the Universal parking lot for this big promotional event. Bob Ford from Houston’s Z107 radio station recounts their visit with Randy below.

Randy was also a part of Meisner, Swan & Rich during this time period.

  2. Thank’s Diana. Although the ladies have always loved Randy he’s loved by men too. He’s a man’s man.

    1. It seems men always loved to talk with him. I think it was because he was so down to earth and just liked to have regular conversations with everybody he met.

  3. I’ll bet the guys were thrilled that Randy wanted to sit with them and shoot the bull. Wow, a rock star as a normal guy!
