The Edwardsville, Illinois Spring Fest is an annual week-long festival held on the campus of Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. Livingston Taylor (brother of James Taylor) appeared with the Eagles. This is a different event from the Mississippi River Festival which was held there in July. The Eagles were at the Mississippi River Festival in July of 1974 and 1975, and pages for both of those years are on this site.
Glenn’s mugshot from May 24, 1973 (bottom of this page) looks just like all his Eagles’ publicity photos. He was arrested the day before this Spring Fest.

“At one of our concerts, the girls in the front row were yelling ‘We can’t hear you’. I yelled back ‘Of course you can’t, you crazy tennyboppers. You’re too close!’ I had to apologize later, but that’s the way I feel. If you want to hear the music, you sit back.”
