The New Mexico Randy Meisner concert was held at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico. Randy Meisner and the Silverados opened for the Beach Boys in the Greyhound Arena. This was one of several concerts that Randy opened for the Beach Boys in February 1981.
A fraternity member threw a jersey to Therese Heston (Silverados back-up singer) on stage. She put it on and wore it throughout the entire show. A video of Therese Heston singing at a friend’s house in 2012 is below.

“After a couple of songs an SAE threw his purple and white jersey to Meisner’s female back-up vocalist who pulled it on, to the audience’s delight, and wore it throughout the rest of their 40-minute performance.”
