The County Stadium in Milwaukee was the venue for another “Rolling Stones Tour of the Americas ’75” concert. Along with Rufus, the Eagles opened for the Stones to 54,000 in attendance. This was two days after the Kansas City Arrowhead concert. Joe Walsh hadn’t joined the Eagles yet, so he was a guest on stage. There would be a gap of about a month, and the Eagles would be at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas on July 6, 1975.
Later in June, before the Dallas show on that tour, the Eagles were at the Wembley concert in London and the Day On the Green concert at Oakland Coliseum.

This post is special to me, Diana. The wind was just right that day. I was with some friends and we heard the Eagles and the Stones two miles away while at an outside venue. I remember reading about this concert in the Milwaukee Journal/Sentinel the next day. It must have been a blast to be in that crowd of 57,000. The lads in blue, as Mick named them, made over 100 arrests. Love the articles and the new to me pictures. Thanks for helping me relive that day 49 years ago.
I remember when you told that story a few years ago. I bet you and your friends had a blast listening to the concert! And, you didn’t have to drive through traffic to get there or pay for it.
