Eagles at Arizona State University – Oct. 15, 1976

The Eagles were at Arizona State University in Tempe, AZ in the Activity Center on Oct. 15, 1976 for this concert. The crowd was at capacity at ASU with 14,000 people attending, and JD Souther opened for the Eagles. This concert was the night before their show at University of Arizona McKale Memorial Center on the 16th.

First live performance of Hotel California:

This was just the second stop of their Hotel California tour and the first night that they performed the song Hotel California live. According to 12News of Phoenix, the ASU Activity Center in October 1976 is the first live venue where Hotel California was performed.
