University of Arizona McKale Memorial Center – Oct. 16, 1976

The University of Arizona McKale Memorial Center in Tucson was the site for the Eagles concert of October 16, 1976. Tucson is where Linda Ronstadt is from. This show was just one night after their appearance at Arizona State University in the Activity Center on Oct. 15 and three days before their four-night string of concerts at the Inglewood Forum in California. JD Souther opened for the Eagles. Randy is wearing his Randy’s Rodeo shirt.

In 2013 the University celebrated 40 years of the McKale Memorial Center being open. The Eagles concert was voted by the fans as one of the top 10 moments in that McKale 40-year history.
