“Still, I couldn’t help but feel that Meisner has better stuff in him, and that, at age 35, his best work could still be ahead of him. He says he ‘doesn’t like the feeling’ of being the leader of a group, and I agree with him. He’s at his best as an equal member of a group of musicians who are every bit as talented as he.”

  1. Fascinating. Thank you for this excellent research. I’m going to look into where Stage East was.

    1. It’s been a few months since I found out about this show, and at the time I posted this I couldn’t find much on the venue. Since you’re in Florida, maybe you will find something.

  2. I might have been at the Stuart concert. I did see him with the Silverados, but never could remember the place. If this is the place at the time I thought he and Teresa had something going on together the way they were looking at each other. My folks lived on Hutchinson Is. which connects to both Stuart and PSL, and my brother in Stuart.

  3. “I wanted to be out with the people.” ~ Randy Meisner By reading so many articles about his solo career, I always thought that Randy liked connecting with the audience. I can’t imagine what performing in the stadiums must have felt like for him.
